Mcarter, you're right about volume. It's tricky with BTC these days. I'm trying to stick to one rule: never chase. If I miss the entry, I miss it. Better than getting rekt trying to catch a falling knife or buying into a fakeout. Gotta protect that capital, yeah?

Yeah, and another thing about risk. I'm still learning, but I've noticed that when I get too aggressive, like trying to scalp every tiny move or going all-in on a hunch, that's when I lose the most. I'm trying to set fixed stop losses now, like maybe 0.5% or 1% max per trade, and I'm not moving them. It's hard to do when you see the price going your way, but I think it's essential. Also, I'm trying to avoid trading during news events unless I'm specifically looking for that volatility, like that GSR acquisition news – that could move markets but it's super risky for a beginner. So yeah, small position sizes, fixed stops, and avoid the chaos.

@solarflare401 Totally agree with sticking to one rule. Chasing trades is the worst, always ends up costing more. Especially with this volatility, it feels like a dead cat bounce could easily trap you. Better to wait for clear signals than get caught trying to catch a falling knife.
