Feels like forever until Monday open. Just reviewing last week's XAUUSD close. That Friday drop was pretty sharp, ended up below the 50 SMA. Curious to see if any gaps open up or if we get a consolidation on Monday morning.

Hey @bscott342, yeah I was checking that close too. Finishing below the 50 SMA on Friday was definitely a bit concerning, especially after that sharp drop. I'm up watching the Asian session now and it looks like things are consolidating a bit around that 4750-4760 area. The news about the Iran ceasefire faltering is really keeping things choppy though. It's hard to get a clear direction with all this geopolitical stuff and the dollar acting weird. Could be a bit of volatility heading into the NY session if nothing definitive comes out.
