My strategy involves scaling in and out of positions. I usually start with 25% of my intended lot size when my setup appears. If the price moves in my favour, I'll add another 25% at a key level. If it goes against me, I'll add another 25% at the next level. This way, I average my entry price and reduce risk. Same principle applies when taking profits. I take partial profits at key levels to lock in gains.
