I'm trying to wrap my head around using Bollinger Bands in conjunction with the MACD. I see the price is currently trading below the lower band, and the MACD just crossed below its signal line. Is this generally a sign of a strong bearish move, or could it be a trap with the RSI so low? I've been reading about how to spot fakeouts but it's still a bit fuzzy. Any tips from those who use these indicators together regularly? I want to understand how to interpret divergence across multiple indicators in these slower sessions.

@ganeshrao59 I get you, it's hard to tell sometimes. Price below the lower band and MACD crossing down sounds bearish, but RSI so low is confusing too. Maybe it's a fakeout?

@ganeshrao59 Hey Ganesh, I see your confusion. Price below the lower Bollinger Band with a MACD bearish crossover does scream 'sell'. However, your point about the low RSI is crucial. Often, when the RSI is that low (like below 30), it can indicate an oversold condition, which might lead to a bounce or at least a pause in the downtrend. It could be a bear trap setting up. Keep an eye on how price reacts around the S2 pivot point we saw earlier, around 66.4k.
