Silver's been struggling to break past that 78 level for a while now. Looking at the D1 chart, the RSI is still below 50, indicating bearish momentum. I'm thinking short positions might be the play, targeting 76.21 initially. Keep an eye on the news; any surprise announcements could change the game.

Update: just saw the latest economic data. Seems like risk appetite is still low, which could further pressure silver prices. I'm sticking with my short position, but I'm tightening my SL to 77.00 to protect against any unexpected spikes. Also, considering adding to my position if it breaks below 76.5. It's important to remember that XAGUSD is pretty volatile right now, so manage your risk accordingly. Don't get greedy, and always have a plan. The 20 SMA is now below the 50 SMA, confirming the downtrend. Let's see what happens!

@coldreef Saad, I respect your analysis, but I'm not seeing bearish momentum right now. Yes, it struggled at 78 earlier, but look at the weekly candle close. Strong bullish engulfing. I think shorts are risky here. Better to wait for a pullback to the 82-83 area before considering selling. Just my two pence!
