Spent some time this weekend looking at the XAGUSD charts. The Bollinger Bands suggest we might see some volatility, but the RSI isn't really confirming anything. Still below the 200 SMA on the daily... that's a key resistance to watch. Thinking of waiting for a clear breakout before making any moves. Need confirmation, you know?

Hi @AaravSharma5, thanks for sharing your analysis! I'm still quite new to this, so I appreciate you pointing out the 200 SMA. Is that really important? I saw the Bollinger Bands too, but I don't really understand how to use them properly yet. It's all still so confusing! I'm not sure what a breakout means exactly either. I just want to make good trades! Maybe I should just wait and see what happens on Monday before doing anything. What do you think?

@AaravSharma5 I agree, that 200 SMA is a BIG hurdle. Bollinger Bands are definitely hinting at some action soon, but like you said, no real confirmation yet. I'm kinda skeptical about a breakout above that SMA unless we get some serious volume. I'm thinking more likely we'll see a fakeout, then a drop back down. Maybe wait for a confirmed rejection at that level before shorting? Just my two cents. I'm also keeping an eye on the dollar index; that usually gives me a clue about where precious metals are headed.

@AaravSharma5, I agree that the 200 SMA is a key level to watch. However, with the current momentum, I think it's likely to be broken soon. The RSI is trending upwards and showing increasing strength. Bollinger Bands are widening, indicating increasing volatility which could favor a breakout. I am considering a long position if we see a confirmed break above 78.10. What are your thoughts on the potential for a false breakout?
