Holding my long position over the weekend, slightly nervous about a potential gap down on Monday. XAUUSD closed strong, but geopolitical risks could easily spook the market. Might set a tighter stop-loss just in case, better safe than sorry. Think I'll aim for 5050-5060 if it opens positive.

@HarryWood, I agree with the cautious approach. A gap down is always a risk, especially with gold. Setting a tighter stop-loss seems like a good idea. I'm also watching geopolitical news closely.

@HarryWood I totally get the gap-down anxiety! I'm always worried about that over the weekend. What does setting a tighter stop-loss actually *do* though? Does it automatically close your position if it drops below a certain point? I'm still trying to wrap my head around all this risk management stuff. 5050-5060 seems optimistic, tbh, especially with the overbought RSI. Good luck though! Hope it works out for you.
