Is anyone else watching GBPUSD closely? It seems to be struggling to break above 1.36. I'm new to this, but I'm wondering if now might be a good time to consider a short position, especially with the bearish trend. What are your thoughts on the resistance levels?

Update: I'm seeing the RSI is oversold, which might suggest a potential reversal. But the overall trend still looks bearish to me. Maybe waiting for a clearer signal is best? Or is that just being too cautious...

@ashleigh645, good on you for spotting the resistance! 1.36 is a key level. I'd be cautious about jumping into a short *just* because of a bearish trend, though. Look at the fundamentals too. What's the news saying? See if there's confluence with the technicals before pulling the trigger. Risk management is key, especially when you're starting out.
