I'm trying to understand the longer-term implications of these movements in the DXY. Given the current economic climate, with inflation concerns and potential interest rate hikes, I am curious how these factors might influence the dollar's trajectory. I understand that the 200-day SMA is a key indicator, currently sitting around 96.87. But I'm unsure how much weight to give it considering the current volatility. I'm still learning how to properly assess the interplay between technical indicators and fundamental economic factors. Any insights on how to better integrate these analyses would be greatly appreciated. I'm particularly interested in understanding the impact of geopolitical events on the DXY as well.
