As the market is closed for the weekend, I'm reviewing my DXY trades from last week. I am considering whether to go long on Monday morning, especially if there is a significant gap up. I need to check the news that comes out over the weekend to gauge the sentiment for the upcoming week.

Actually, I might wait for the PPI data before making any decision. Don't want to jump in too early if the numbers are bad for the dollar.

@ShahidAnsari33 Hey man, saw your post about DXY for Monday. I'm also keeping an eye on it. That PPI data could be a real mover. If it comes in hot, I reckon we'll see DXY push higher, maybe even towards that R2 pivot around 99.39. But if it's weak, then yeah, a gap down is definitely on the cards. I was thinking of looking for a short opportunity if it hits resistance and starts to falter, especially if the Dollar Index is struggling. Always good to have a plan before the market opens, totally agree with waiting for that data, smart move.
