I'm observing a potential ascending triangle forming on the H4 chart for ETHUSD. A confirmed breakout above the upper trendline, coinciding with a sustained RSI reading above 70, could provide a strong buy signal. However, be mindful of potential false breakouts and the overall market sentiment. It's crucial to confirm with other indicators before entering a position.

@emilyjones65 Interesting point about the ascending triangle. I agree that a break above the trendline with a high RSI could be a good buy signal, but I'm also a bit wary of those false breakouts. I'd want to see strong volume accompanying the breakout to confirm it. Have you looked at the MACD at all? A bullish crossover there could add further confirmation. I'm also considering the pivot point around 2050.75 as a potential resistance level to watch. Think we need to be patient and wait for more confluence before making a move.

Been burned by those before! 🔥 I'm also keeping an eye on the overall market sentiment – feels a bit shaky with all the news lately. Maybe waiting for a clearer confirmation is the way to go. @emilyjones65 That ascending triangle idea is super cool! I'm still learning about chart patterns, so it's awesome to see someone point that out. What do you think about the 200 SMA at 1987.39 acting as resistance if it breaks out? I'm wondering if that could be a good place to set a TP!

@emilyjones65 Ascending triangle, eh? Sounds fancy! I'm still learning all these patterns. A breakout would be good, but how do you really KNOW it's not a fake one? I always get tripped up on those. Maybe I need stronger glasses, lol.
