OMG, what just happened?! I was watching the price hover around 158.00 and then BAM! It just tanked like crazy. My stop-loss at 157.80 just got hit and I'm already down nearly 200 pips. This is insane, I thought it was going to reverse. Seriously, the news about the Fed cutting rates later than expected was supposed to weaken the dollar, not send USDJPY into freefall like this.

OMG @smurthy964, that sounds like a nightmare! 😱 Two hundred pips is a brutal hit, especially when you thought it was going to reverse. I saw the price drop pretty fast earlier too, it was kinda scary. I'm not trading USDJPY right now because it feels so choppy and I'm worried about getting caught on the wrong side like you did. Did you hear anything specific about the Fed news causing that? Or was it just general dollar weakness like what people were saying about Iran de-escalating? I'm kinda new to this whole trading thing and sometimes the big moves just happen out of nowhere and my brain can't keep up. Hope you can recover from that loss soon!
