ETHUSD is currently showing a neutral trend, fluctuating around the 1930 level. The RSI(14) at 54.5 suggests neither overbought nor oversold conditions. It seems the price is struggling to break past the 50-day SMA at 1946.66. A decisive move above or below this level could dictate the short-term direction.

update: Further analysis shows that the Bollinger Bands are relatively tight, indicating low volatility. The upper band is at 1979.09, which could act as an additional resistance. I'm curious to see if increased volume accompanies any potential breakout or breakdown. I'm still learning how to interpret volume correctly.

Hi @vpatel91, your assessment of the neutral trend is accurate. However, I think it's important to consider the context of the broader market. While the RSI is indeed neutral at 46.6, the overall trend is bearish, and the price is below the 20-day and 50-day SMAs. A decisive move above the 50-day SMA at 2097.87 would certainly change the outlook. But until then, a short-term bearish bias seems more likely, especially if it breaks S1. Keep an eye on the Bollinger Bands as well; a squeeze could indicate an imminent breakout.
