One thing I've learned over the years is to always be aware of the time of day, especially during high-impact news releases. The London/New York overlap is prime time for GBPUSD volatility. Liquidity grabs are common, so don't get rekt by tight stop losses. If you're trading during these hours, consider widening your stops a bit to avoid getting stopped out prematurely. Also, keep an eye on the DXY; dollar strength or weakness can significantly impact GBPUSD.
