Whoa, just saw that Iran news flash. Crude oil shooting up like crazy. That's gotta be influencing gold too, right? This kind of geopolitical stuff always makes the yellow metal jump. Might be a good time to go full YOLO on a long here.

Hey @icestorm797, I saw that news too about the oil prices spiking because of the Iran situation. It definitely makes me nervous about inflation, and you're right, gold usually reacts to that kind of stuff. I'm not sure about going 'full YOLO' though, that sounds a bit risky for me right now. My account is pretty small and I'm still learning. I'm watching the price around 4775, it seems to be struggling to break higher. Maybe we should wait and see if that CPI data today makes things clearer before making any big moves? I don't want to buy at the top again like I did last week.
