Hey @syoung962, totally get what you mean about the speed! This weekend I was just looking at the weekly chart for XAUUSD. That big drop on Friday was wild, but it looks like it found some support around the 200 SMA level on the daily. It's still sitting above it, which is a good sign for me. Kinda hoping it doesn't gap down too much on Monday morning though, that's always a worry!

Yeah, so after looking at that 200 SMA holding on the daily, I went back and checked the monthly. We're still in a pretty solid uptrend overall, even with that pullback. The Friday close actually held above the 50 EMA on the weekly which I didn't notice at first glance. So while the short-term looked scary, the longer-term picture still seems pretty bullish to me. I'm just going to keep an eye on that 4650 area for Monday. If it holds, I might look to enter a long position again after it shows some upward momentum. Need to be careful about any liquidity grabs though, that's what got me last time.
