Caught a bit of a scalp on the way down earlier today, around 66.5k. It was quick profit, just enough to cover my morning coffee expenses. Always good to get a small win, even if it's just a few hundred bucks. Keeps the spirits up.

Thinking back on that little scalp, I realized I should have tightened my stop loss a bit more aggressively. It got close to breakeven before I closed it, and I could have potentially let it run for more if I wasn't so eager to lock in the small profit. It's a constant learning curve with risk management, trying to find that balance between protecting capital and maximizing gains. Also, the news about Riot moving BTC did add a little jitter to the market sentiment, made me a bit more cautious about holding large positions overnight right now.

Hey @andrewwilson85, it's tough when those quick profits evaporate. I saw your comment about tightening the stop loss. That's a good lesson learned for sure. For me, I'm a bit worried about this current BTCUSD price action. It's consolidating right at the 20-day SMA, which is a little concerning given the choppy moves we've seen recently. The chart looks like it's struggling to find direction, and with the 50-day SMA acting as overhead resistance, I'm not feeling super confident about holding any long positions right now unless we break decisively above 67k.
