I'm curious to hear what others think about the long-term prospects for ETHUSD given the current market conditions. We've seen some significant volatility lately, and the bearish trend seems to be gaining momentum. Are people still bullish despite the recent downturn? I'm particularly interested in hearing from those who are using DeFi strategies – are you adjusting your approach in light of the price action? What indicators are you finding most helpful in navigating this environment? I'm trying to balance my long-term belief in Ethereum with the need to manage risk effectively. Any thoughts or insights would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking about layering in some short positions as a hedge, but I'm hesitant to overreact to short-term fluctuations.

@brittany8762, that's a valid concern regarding the long-term prospects. While the recent bullish momentum is encouraging, the volatility you mentioned is definitely something to consider. I think a lot hinges on whether ETHUSD can maintain its position above the 200 SMA, currently around 1964.73. If it dips below that, we could see a further correction. However, if it holds, I believe we could see a continued bullish trend, potentially testing the R1 pivot point around 2085.09 in the short term. Long term, I'm cautiously optimistic, but risk management is key in this environment. I'm adjusting my stop losses accordingly.
