Seriously though, can we talk about these spreads? I swear my broker widens them just as I'm about to enter a trade, like they have a direct line to my trading account. I was trying to get short on DXY near that 99.30 resistance, and BAM, spread jumped to like 5 pips. By the time it settled, I'd already missed the entry. It's like they're actively trying to make us lose money. And slippage? Don't even get me started. It's always a few ticks against you, never in your favor. This whole system feels rigged to benefit the big players and bleed us dry. I'm convinced there's an algorithm just watching for retail entries and then widening spreads or causing a fakeout to hunt our stops. It's infuriating, makes me want to just throw my laptop out the window.
