I've been employing a scaling-in strategy on XAUUSD today, adding to my long position incrementally as it broke through resistance levels around 4480. Conversely, I'm looking to scale out of portions if it approaches the 4550 mark, aiming to secure profits and reduce exposure given the inherent volatility.

@thomas01 Your scaling-in strategy sounds interesting but also risky for me. I saw XAUUSD shoot up today, almost to 4670. I'm still learning, so seeing that much volatility makes me nervous. When you say resistance at 4480, is that from a previous day's close or something on the hourly? I'm struggling to identify these levels myself. I might have entered a trade around 4650 based on someone's tip and now it's dropping, so I'm watching nervously. Should I be worried about a liquidity grab from smart money if it breaks below 4600? NFA, just curious about your thoughts on managing risk during these big moves.
