Alright, seeing USDJPY dipping below the 20 SMA on the H4 chart here. I've just initiated a short position around 159.10. My target is to catch this move down towards the S2 pivot at 159.105, or perhaps even lower if momentum holds. Let's see if this bearish sentiment sticks before the weekend.

@isabella6184 I hear you on watching USDJPY for shorts, but I'm a bit hesitant to jump in right before the weekend. The price action on Friday was definitely choppy, and while it dipped below the 20 SMA on H4, we're still seeing some strong underlying support around the 159 area. I'm concerned about a potential gap up on Monday, especially if any unexpected news breaks while the market is closed. Remember how volatile things can get when positions are left open overnight or for two days. I'd rather wait for a clearer signal next week, maybe after we see the initial reaction on Monday morning, rather than risk getting caught in a whipsaw or a gap against my position. It's just too much uncertainty for my liking right now.
