Ugh, I just got stopped out of my long position on BTCUSD. I entered around 75800 hoping for a quick bounce after seeing those pivot points near R1, but then that SEC news hit and it just dropped like a rock. I put my stop loss at 75600, and it went right through it. Lost about 0.5% of my account, which feels like a lot when you're just starting out. Now I don't even know if I should try to re-enter or just wait. This volatility is brutal, and I'm starting to think I bought at the worst possible time again.

@AvaMartinez Hey Ava, sorry to hear about that stop out. Those SEC headlines can really shake things up unexpectedly, can't they? It's like you plan for technicals, and then bam, some news event just blows it all away. For me, entering a long around 75800 would have felt a bit risky given that 20-day SMA was already pushing down around 75090, plus the RSI was starting to look a little tired. When I saw the news about Bitcoin Latinum's alleged fraud, I immediately figured that sentiment could sour the whole crypto market, especially if it made regulators more nervous. I'm staying out for now, too much uncertainty overnight. Maybe wait for a clearer trend and less noise.
