A valuable lesson I've learned over the years with USDJPY is not to chase moves too aggressively when it's hovering around key resistance levels like the upper Bollinger Band. Often, a brief consolidation or even a minor pullback precedes a genuine breakout, if one occurs at all. Patience and waiting for confirmation, rather than jumping in on momentum alone, has saved me significant capital on multiple occasions. This pair can be notoriously stubborn.
