Has anyone else noticed how BTCUSD tends to react around the daily pivot points? I'm trying to understand how reliable they are as entry or exit signals. Sometimes it bounces right off, other times it just blows straight through. Maybe it's just my inexperience, but I'm finding it hard to tell when they'll actually hold. Any tips on using pivot points more effectively?

Okay, so update: I've been looking at BTCUSD's historical data around the pivot points, and it seems like the R1 and S1 levels are more reliable during periods of consolidation. When the trend is really strong, they seem to get ignored more easily. I'm thinking maybe I should focus on using them only when the price is moving sideways or in a narrow range. Also, I'm wondering if combining pivot points with other indicators, like the RSI, might help filter out some of the false signals? Just thinking out loud here, trying to refine my strategy...
