Honestly, I still FOMO into gold sometimes when it looks like it's about to break out, only for it to immediately dump. My biggest mistake is probably not sticking to my plan when the urge hits. Like, I'll see a nice FVG and think 'this is it!' then bam, rekt. Gotta work on that discipline.

And speaking of FVG, I was looking at the 1-hour chart earlier and saw one around 5030 that looked pretty juicy. I was tempted to go long there, but then remembered how many times I've been burned by chasing these gaps. It's like the market knows you're watching. The RSI is sitting around 47 too, not really screaming buy or sell, which just adds to the indecision. I think I'll just wait for a clearer signal, maybe a break of that 5004 pivot. Don't want to be the one stuck holding the bag if it dumps again. It's definitely a tricky market right now, that news about the Fed expectations is keeping things choppy.
