Hey @angelabrown, I see what you mean about the head and shoulders looking weak on the 1H. I'm more of a fundamental guy myself, but I do keep an eye on the charts. What's been getting me lately is how the DXY seems to react to these headlines. Remember that Iran news that popped up? It pushed gold down but didn't really do much to the dollar, which was odd. I've been burned before by trying to trade off news directly. This week, with the Fed and ECB meetings, it feels like we're in for some serious volatility. I'm just hoping my overnight position doesn't get blown out. It's tempting to try and catch a big move, but I'm trying to remember that lesson from last month when I chased a breakout and ended up with a nasty loss. Patience is a virtue, they say... I just wish it paid the bills faster!
