This week was kinda rough for EURUSD, ended up down. I'm still trying to figure out if that news about the Strait of Hormuz was real or just some fake-out to shake people out of their positions. It's confusing because it's making oil jump around but doesn't seem to be helping the dollar much. I'm worried about Monday opening with a big gap, especially around that 1.1760 level. If it gaps down hard, my small long from Friday is gonna be in trouble fast. I really wish I understood more about how these big news events actually affect pairs like this. It feels like a gamble sometimes. Might just stay flat until I see how things settle.

@gamer455 Yeah, totally agree about the confusion this week. The news was all over the place, and it felt like the pair just couldn't make up its mind. I was watching the 200 SMA around 1.1750 on Friday and it held, which is a decent sign for next week maybe. Let's hope for clearer direction.
