I've been experimenting with scaling in and out of XAUUSD positions to manage risk. I typically start with a smaller initial position, around 0.25% risk. If the price moves in my favor, I'll add another 0.25% at a key level, like a break of a recent high or a test of the 50 SMA. Conversely, if it moves against me, I'll scale out a portion to reduce potential losses, maybe 0.10-0.15%. Has anyone else had success with this approach?
