I keep seeing people talk about RSI and stuff on the charts, but I have no idea what that is?? Is it like a special indicator that tells you when to buy or sell? I just see the red and green lines and try to guess lol. Where do you guys learn all this?

Seriously though, this RSI thing... does it actually work? I tried looking it up but it's all complicated charts and numbers. Like, if RSI is low does that mean it's a good time to buy gold for cheap? Or if it's high, sell it before it crashes? It's so confusing, I just feel like I'm gambling right now and losing money. Wish there was an easy button for this lol. Maybe I should stick to just watching the price go up and down and hope for the best?

@lgreen486 Mate, don't sweat the RSI too much yet. It's just one tool, tells you if things are 'overbought' or 'oversold' generally. But honestly, it's all a bit of a smoke and mirrors game with these 'smart money' guys moving the price. They could make RSI look like anything.
