XAUUSD showing a potential consolidation phase around the 4990 level. The 20 SMA is acting as immediate resistance. A break above 4998 could signal a bullish move towards R1 at 4998.39. Conversely, failure to hold above 4989 (S1) might open the door for a retest of S2 at 4985.03. Watching for a breakout confirmation.

Update: RSI is currently neutral at 48.4, so momentum isn't strongly biased in either direction. I'll be waiting for a clear RSI divergence to confirm any potential breakout.
