WHAT JUST HAPPENED??? Gold absolutely tanked out of nowhere, like a bomb went off. Saw it drop 300 points in minutes. My entire account is on the line with this leveraged short, this is INSANE!

These sharp moves in thin liquidity can be brutal, and that's probably why it felt so sudden. With the DXY pushing higher again, that's definitely a headwind for gold right now, and it's not helping the miners either, even if they look oversold. I'd say for now, just focus on managing your risk. If you're leveraged heavily, maybe consider tightening your stop to protect what you have left, or even closing out if the anxiety is too much. Overnight moves can be even crazier when Asia wakes up and liquidity is still low.
Hey @gclark409, that drop was brutal. Liquidity grabs happen fast, especially on weekends. The news about stagflation and oil prices definitely adds fuel to the fire. I'm just glad I wasn't caught in that sudden move. Always respect those potential spikes. NFA, but be careful with leverage.
