I'm so fed up with these insane spreads and the slippage I keep getting. I tried to enter a small short position earlier, just to see, and by the time it filled the price had moved like 200 points against me. Then when I wanted to close it because it was going south, the spread widened even more. It feels like the platform is just taking my money before I even get a chance to trade. It's infuriating! I'm definitely going to be looking at other brokers if this keeps happening. It's hard enough to make money in this market without the system working against you.

Lily, I totally understand your frustration with the spreads and slippage. It's incredibly disheartening when you're trying to execute a trade and the platform works against you like that. I've had similar experiences, especially during high volatility periods like this. It makes it so difficult to manage risk effectively. I think the key is to find a broker that offers more competitive spreads and reliable execution, though I know that's easier said than done. Have you considered looking into different trading platforms entirely? Some are definitely better than others when it comes to minimizing those issues. I'm currently using PriceONN and their execution has been pretty solid so far, even with the current market activity. Might be worth a look if you're having persistent problems.
