Quick question for the more experienced traders here: I'm trying to get my head around using pivot points. R1 is currently at 1983.98, basically where we are now. Does that mean we're likely to see a pullback soon? Or is that just one factor to consider? Still learning the ropes tbh.

@mgarcia929 Pivot points are useful, but definitely not a crystal ball. R1 acting as resistance is possible, but it's more of a zone to watch for confluence with other indicators. Look at the RSI, MACD, and volume at that level. If you see bearish divergence or increased selling pressure, then a pullback becomes more likely. Don't rely on pivot points in isolation. Also, consider the broader trend on H4 and D1 charts for context. Good luck!
