Well, that didn't last long. My XAUUSD short from 4790 got stopped out for a small loss just before NY session close. Figures. As soon as I secure my position, the algos just rip it higher. I saw the news about that ceasefire looking shaky, thought it'd push gold down, but nope. They always find a way to squeeze us retail traders. The spreads widened to like 20 pips too, absolute robbery. This market is rigged for people like us. You think you're trading the news, but you're just trading their playbook. Back to the drawing board... or maybe just bed. Tired of this nonsense.
