LOL, just saw gold spike up to 4780 then dump HARD. This is pure liquidity grab before NY opens. Whoever is holding longs right now is getting wrecked. They swept the lows earlier, now they're taking the highs. Classic manipulation. NFA but get out if you're long.

Hey @MClark10, I hear you on the liquidity grab. It's been wild watching these swings. That news about Iran is definitely a factor, pushing oil up like that. Usually gold follows oil when tensions are high, especially with the Strait of Hormuz stuff. But the Fed's surprise rate decision? That's the real wildcard. If they're hinting at more tightening or something unexpected, that could kill the rally for gold quickly. I'm watching the 200 SMA around 4767, if we can't break that resistance with all this noise, it’s a bad sign. For now, I’m staying flat, waiting for this chop to clear before I even think about a position. This volatility is too much for a clear setup, even with 100x leverage.

Hey @MClark10, I was watching the charts too and it looked like a total mess earlier. It definitely felt like a liquidity grab, just like you said. That news about the Iran tensions really makes things unpredictable. It pushed oil up and then gold just seemed to follow that volatility, which is weird because I thought gold was supposed to be a safe haven when things like that happen? I'm just sitting on the sidelines right now, not sure if I should even try to get in after seeing that sharp drop. It’s hard to trust the moves when they’re this wild.
