I totally feel you though, it's so easy to get sidetracked when things get a bit slow or you're trying to escape the screen for a bit. And XAUUSD has been all over the place lately, no joke. Seeing it drop like that after you forgot to close a short position must be gut-wrenching. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole Iran diplomacy thing impacting gold prices so much. Like, yesterday it was all about geopolitical tensions, and now it's like... chill out? The market's reacting so wildly to every little news snippet, it's hard to keep up. Maybe set a hard stop loss next time, even if it feels too early? Or just trade from a different device that can't access metaverse stuff lol. Hang in there, hope it turns around for you!
