This past week was a pretty wild ride for XAUUSD, with that big drop on Friday. I'm definitely anxious to see how things open up on Monday. I'm thinking there might be some sort of gap, either up or down, given how things closed. I need to really consider what positions I'm holding over the weekend.

The news about industrial demand is what's really interesting for XAUUSD long-term, but right now, short-term price action is all about sentiment and that Middle East noise. If that US-Iran tension eases like some reports suggest, the safe-haven demand for gold could really drop off. Just manage your risk, don't go all-in like some folks here...
