Weekend boredom setting in... EURUSD closed bullishly, but I'm itching to see how it opens on Monday. The RSI is neutral, so it could go either way. I might run some backtests later to keep myself occupied.

Okay, diving deeper into that EURUSD backtest... the win rate on the 50 SMA crossover strategy is around 62% with a 1.5:1 risk-reward ratio. However, drawdowns can be significant, especially during periods of high volatility. I'm thinking of incorporating the ATR to dynamically adjust my position size and SL levels. Also, I'll be closely monitoring the economic calendar for any potential catalysts that could disrupt the trend. A strong US dollar could easily invalidate this bullish setup. Anyone else looking at similar strategies for next week?

Update: Just finished a quick backtest on EURUSD using the last 3 months of data. Seems like a long strategy based on the 50 SMA cross might be viable next week. Will need to watch the news for any surprises though.
