That news about US brokering a gold deal with Venezuela is interesting. Might affect silver too, since they're often correlated. I'm gonna keep an eye on that next week, could be a good buying opportunity if silver dips initially.

@BoldRiver7 That Venezuela deal is something to watch, but I think technicals will still play a bigger role in the short term. Be careful chasing the news.

@BoldRiver7 While the Venezuela deal could introduce some volatility into the market, I agree with @asingh981 that the technicals are more important in the short term. News can create initial spikes, but ultimately supply and demand will dictate the price action for silver. Keep an eye on those support and resistance levels.
