Seriously, these spreads are getting ridiculous. My broker widened the spread on DXY right before the US open, and I got slippage on my entry. Cost me a few pips already. Starting to think about switching brokers, this is unacceptable. Anyone else experiencing this?

@michaeljohnson32 I feel you on the spreads! It's so annoying when brokers do that. I haven't seen it today, but I'll keep an eye out. Thanks for the heads up!

@michaeljohnson32 Slippage and widening spreads are definitely a red flag. It's worth documenting those instances and comparing brokers. Some brokers widen spreads during news events or periods of high volatility, but consistent slippage suggests potential issues with their execution or liquidity providers. Look into brokers with tighter spreads during peak hours and guaranteed stop-loss orders, but be aware that those often come with a higher commission. Also, consider using limit orders instead of market orders to avoid slippage, especially during volatile periods. Just my 2 cents.
