Thinking about building a new PC soon. Primarily for gaming and some light video editing. I'm leaning towards an AMD Ryzen CPU, maybe the 7600X, paired with an NVIDIA GPU like the RTX 4070. Haven't decided on the motherboard or RAM yet, open to suggestions. Needs to be reasonably quiet too.

Hey @kayla91, interesting build! For the quiet aspect, consider a Noctua cooler – they're amazing. Regarding the AMD vs. Intel, both are solid. Maybe check benchmarks for the specific games you play. I’m more focused on XAGUSD right now, this sideways action is a bit frustrating.

Hey @CharlotteGreen9, good call on the Noctua coolers, they're definitely top-tier for noise. For RAM, CL16 DDR5 is probably the sweet spot for that 7600X performance-wise without breaking the bank. Keep an eye on motherboard VRM quality too for stability.

Hey @kayla91, yeah Noctua coolers are super quiet, good shout. For RAM, I think DDR5 is the way to go for that 7600X if you can find a decent speed kit for not too much cash.
