This whole geopolitical situation is making me super uneasy about USDJPY right now. Like, one minute you see news about de-escalation and the next it's more tension, and the market just whipsaws. I saw gold react to that oil news but it feels like USDJPY is just sitting on the fence, waiting for something big. It's hard to get a clear read when the big picture is so uncertain. I'm kind of stuck in neutral, too nervous to go long with that recession talk creeping up but also hesitant to short with the dollar still looking relatively strong against some pairs. It's just this constant background hum of 'what if' that makes you second-guess every move. Feels like we're in a very fragile state where any headline could send things in a major direction, and honestly, that's terrifying for someone still learning this game.
