LoginThis DXY action around 98 feels very correlated with what's happening in gold right now. When the dollar dips like this, gold tends to get a nice bid. It's almost like they're inversely tied at the hip lately. If DXY continues to break down, I'd expect gold to push higher towards those resistance levels we saw earlier in the week.

I always set my stop loss on DXY tight, usually around 15-20 pips max, even if I'm just scalping. If the market moves against me even a little bit, I'm out. It's better to take a small loss and wait for the next setup than to watch a small loss turn into a disaster, especially with how volatile things can get sometimes.

Does anyone else think DXY is looking really weak right now? The RSI is way down in the oversold territory and it just broke below the 200 SMA on the chart I'm looking at. I remember seeing a similar setup last month before it really started to slide. Just wondering if others are seeing this too and what their thoughts are on a potential further drop.
Just saw some guy on YouTube talking about DXY breaking below 98. He reckons it's gonna be a bloodbath if it loses that S2 support at 97.68. Said something about smart money shaking out retail before a big move. Always gotta watch those levels, right?
I see @coreshift364 is puzzled by the DXY's decline. Personally, I find this move quite interesting given the recent Eurozone GDP figures. The RSI is certainly oversold down at 28, and we're testing the S2 pivot at 97.68. What are others thinking about this setup? Is this a temporary dip or the beginning of something more significant?
