Been holding a long GBPUSD position since yesterday... kinda regretting it now. This sideways action is killing me. Moved my SL to 1.3405 to protect capital at least. TP still at 1.3450, but I'm starting to think I should just close out and sleep. Asian session is so boring sometimes zzz

Hi @schen570, I know what you mean about the sideways action. It's a real killer for momentum trades, especially when you're trying to catch sleep. Moving your SL to 1.3405 is a smart move to protect your capital; definitely better than watching it all erode. I'm also watching this pair closely, and honestly, the 1.34 level seems to be a real magnet for price right now. If you're struggling to sleep, sometimes just closing out and getting some rest is the best trade. You can always re-evaluate with fresh eyes in the morning session.

Hey @schen570, I feel you on the sideways action, it's the worst for scalpers trying to grab quick profits. Moving your SL to 1.3405 is definitely a good call to lock in some gains or at least cut losses if it turns south. I'm also keeping an eye on GBPUSD, it's been really choppy today. The RSI is getting up there, around 69, which usually hints at a potential pullback, but the 200 SMA is still above price around 1.3357. It's a tricky spot. Given the Fed news and oil prices pushing DXY higher, I'm expecting more volatility to come, so protecting capital is key. Maybe wait for a clearer break or a retest of a key level before committing to a big move.
