Quiet session in BTCUSD today as expected, with most major economic data releases out of the way for the moment. The Fed's emergency rate decision yesterday certainly shook things up across all markets, and we might see some lingering volatility as traders digest that. We'll need to keep an eye on any further statements or hints from central banks this week, as that's often what drives these unexpected moves.

Also, regarding that consolidation I mentioned in comment #1, the lack of significant news catalysts today is definitely contributing. The Iran conflict news is certainly making waves in commodities, but the direct impact on BTCUSD feels muted right now, at least from a price action perspective. If that situation escalates further or if there's any spillover into major economies, we might see a shift in risk appetite that could influence crypto. For now though, it’s chart watching and waiting for clearer signals, especially with liquidity being so thin in this early Asian session.
