I opened a short position on XAUUSD earlier today at 5250, anticipating a continuation of the downtrend. My initial stop loss was placed at 5300, and take profit at 5100. Given the current price action and the breach of the 5100 level, I've adjusted my stop loss to 5200 to lock in some profit. I'm closely monitoring the RSI, which is currently indicating oversold conditions. However, I'm hesitant to close the position just yet, as the overall trend still seems bearish. I might consider moving my TP lower if the downward momentum persists. This is a nerve wracking trade, but I'm sticking to my plan.
