Considering the current price action of XAUUSD, has anyone observed any significant divergence between price and the RSI indicator on the H4 chart? I'm curious if this could signal a potential weakening of the current upward momentum, despite the positive SMA crossovers. A deeper analysis is warranted before committing to further long positions.

In addition to the RSI, the Bollinger Bands also warrant attention. The current price is nearing the upper band (5052.32), which could indicate an overbought condition. However, a sustained break above this level could signal further upside potential. It's a delicate balance. Update: Further examination reveals that while the RSI is currently at 57, it has been consistently trending downwards over the past few trading sessions. This, coupled with the price hovering around the 5028 level, suggests a possible consolidation phase rather than a continuation of the bullish trend. I'm adjusting my strategy to a more neutral stance, awaiting clearer signals. It's crucial to monitor the support and resistance levels derived from the pivot points before making any decisive moves. The S1 at 5004.01 could act as the next important support.
