Friday's close did look a bit weak, falling below the 50 SMA. It's tough to say if that's just a breather or the start of something more. Really hoping for a clean gap open on Monday, no major surprises this time.

Also, I'm looking at the weekly chart too. The overall trend is still up, but we're definitely not seeing that aggressive buying pressure from a few weeks back. It feels like gold is consolidating, trying to figure out its next big move. Let's just hope for a positive start to the trading week.

Actually, thinking more about that 50 SMA level, it's been a pretty solid support before. If we can get back above it early next week, maybe that's a good sign. But if we just slice right through it on Monday's open, then yeah, might be time to worry about a bigger pullback. The weekend is always the longest wait, you know? Just gotta trust the process and manage risk over these two days.
