One more thing I'm considering: the 200 SMA is sitting right around 4998. If we get a significant pullback early in the week, that could be a key level to watch for a potential bounce. I'm not planning on adding to my long position unless we see a clear break above 5120 though. Patience is key with XAUUSD, imo.

Update: I've been doing some backtesting over the weekend, specifically looking at XAUUSD performance after similar Friday rallies. Seems like there's about a 60% chance of a gap up on Monday, but the average gap size is only around 5-10 pips. I'm thinking of adjusting my stop loss slightly to account for this. Also, I'm looking at the D1 RSI which is pretty overbought... might be a good idea to scale back my position a bit if it keeps going up early next week. Anyone else doing something similar?

@LucasCyclist I feel you on the weekend withdrawal, Lucas. It's tough to switch off completely, especially when you're swing trading. I usually try to backtest some strategies or read up on economic reports to stay productive without actively trading. Helps to keep the mind engaged without the emotional rollercoaster of live markets. I'm also hoping for a calm open, but with gold, you never really know what Monday will bring. Could be a wild ride.
