This week's USDJPY trading was a mixed bag. I managed to capitalize on the initial upward momentum, but the subsequent consolidation around the 155 level proved challenging. The lack of clear directional bias made it difficult to establish high-conviction positions. I'll be reviewing my entries and exits over the weekend to identify areas for improvement.

Regarding my previous comment, I'm particularly concerned about the potential for a gap opening on Monday. Given the neutral closing price and the proximity to the 50 SMA, any significant news over the weekend could trigger a sharp move in either direction. I'll be monitoring the news flow closely and adjusting my risk management accordingly. It seems like patience is the best approach to start with. Maybe wait for a clearer signal before committing to a position. I'll also look at the H4 chart for early indications of direction. A break above R1 or below S1 will be my cue.
